The Kick-off Meeting for Quality Certification of Study in China Was Hold by the College

On the afternoon of March 5, the kick-off meeting for quality certification of study in China was hold by the college in Conference Room 104 of the Administration Building. The Vice-President Niu Shengjie, the heads of relevant functional departments and the college as well as the relevant personnel of the College of Overseas Education attended the meeting. The Vice-President Niu Shengjie hosted the meeting.

At the meeting, the College of Overseas Education reported on the quality certification of study in China, introduced the certification plan, organization construction and work schedule, and elaborated on the work breakdown structure and supporting material requirements of the certification.

Subsequently, the departments participating in the meeting and the college discussed the certification plan and the work breakdown list point by point, and put forward advice and suggestions.

Finally, the Vice-President Niu Shengjie made a speech. The Vice-President Niu pointed out that all units should attach great importance to the quality certification of study in China, comb the education management of international students in an all-around way, and promote the implementation of all tasks of certification; they should promote construction, improvement and management by certification, make concerted efforts, make innovations cooperatively, and improve the management and service level of overseas education in China; they should further improve the quality assurance system for international students to study in China, enhance the ability of cultivating international talents of our college, and help our college to set up first-class disciplines and build a high-level university.

The meeting also assigned the provincial reporting work of English teaching and training courses for international students in colleges and universities in 2019, and promoted the publicity of international students enrollment in 2019.
