Prof. Butler thanks Prof. NIU for the great hospitality. He spoke highly of the joint program between UoS and NanjingTech and sincerely hoped that both sides could continue doing so. At present, his colleagues are reviewing the Agreement and revising the curriculum, staff plan and language proficiency standards. Note:

The 3+1 joint program between NanjingTech and UoS dates back to 2011. It has cultivated a great many of students under the joint efforts. Many of the graduates went for further study in world renowned universities such as Oxford and Cambridge. The joint program has also laid a solid foundation for the exchanges between teachers of both sides, which has improved the level and quality of disciplinary development and scientific research. One major of the program, Chemistry, has already been accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC), the first of its kind in mainland China. Besides, both Chemistry and Financial Mathematics are approved as the high-level demonstrative programs by the department of education of Jiangsu province.
