It was learned recently that Shen Tianyang, a student of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in chemistry (international class) of our university who will graduate in 2019, received an offer of a graduate program of University of Cambridge, UK, becoming the second student to get an offer of a graduate program of University of Cambridge after Zhu Hongjia who graduated in 2017. Over the past three years, two students have been admitted to University of Cambridge, which clearly shows the quality of talent cultivation under the "3 + 1" mode of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools.

Shen Tianyang is an excellent student in character and learning. In the first three years of his study in China, he has won one national scholarship and six college-level special scholarships, thus achieving the “Grand Slam” of scholarships; in addition to excellent academic performance, he is also honest and helpful, actively answering questions raised by classmates and helping them, thus widely praised by teachers and students; Shen Tianyang is also outstanding in social work, and has served as a class monitor and vice-president of the college student union.
