A Symposium of Parents of Grade 2018 Freshmen of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools Was Hold in the College of Overseas Education

On the afternoon of September 8, a symposium of parents of grade 2018 freshmen of the College of Overseas Education was held smoothly in Classroom 315 of Renzhi Building. More than 200 parents of freshmen participated in the symposium. All seats are occupied in the classroom. The Secretary of the General Party Branch Tong Zhengquan, the Dean Yang Yanhui, the Deputy Dean Luo Xiaochun, the Deputy Dean Wang Fei and all teachers of Student Affairs Office and Youth League Committee of the College of Overseas Education attended the meeting.

At the beginning of the symposium, the Secretary Tong Zhengquan expressed his warm welcome to the parents of grade 2018 freshmen, and gave a detailed introduction of the development history, the cultivation mode and results of students of Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in our college. Students in our college study in an environment of "bilingual, dual campus", the situation of graduates’ application for postgraduate education abroad is satisfying. Thus we have a broad international development platform. In addition, Secretary Tong emphasized the regulations and requirements of our college for academic management of students, advocated the joint efforts of the college and families to help freshmen to clarify their development goals, adjust their learning styles and develop in an all-round way, and jointly promote the growth and success of students.

In the section of questions, the parents raised questions about professional learning, student management and postgraduate education application abroad. The leaders and teachers of the college answered the questions raised by parents in details. The symposium of freshman parents built a bridge between parents of grade 2018 freshmen and the college, which shortened the distance between parents and the college.
