The Graduation Ceremony of Joint Programmes between Nanjing Tech University and Institute of Technology Tallaght2018 was Held Grandly

On the morning of July 9, the Graduation Ceremony of Joint Programmesbetween Nanjing Tech University and Institute of Technology Tallaght2018 was grandly held in the Lecture Hall on the fifth floor of the Yifu Library. Those who attended included President of Institute of Technology Tallaght--Thomas Stone, Director of Development Department of Institute of Technology Tallaght --Pat Coman, President of Nanjing Tech University-- Qiao Xu, Vice Presidents of Nanjing Tech University --Cui Yihu, Zhang Jinming and Gong Jianming. Besides, the principals of relevant functional departments, the School of Mechanical and Power Engineering and the School of Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Engineering and responsible person of College of Overseas Education, 2018 graduates and their parents, and representatives of teachers of the two universities participated in the ceremony. The graduation ceremony was hosted by Vice President Gong Jianming.

At the beginning of the ceremony, Vice President Gong Jianming delivered a welcome speech and introduced the present guests. Dong Jun, Minister of Education Affairs, read out the names of 2018 graduates. President  Qiao Xu and President Thomas Stone issued diplomas of the two universities to the graduates in sequence respectively and took photos with them.

Pu Feng, a student of Class 1402 of 2014 Mechanical Engineering (Chinese) Major, delivered a speech on behalf of the graduates. He expressed his sincere thanks to the Alma Mater for its dedicated cultivation and believed the Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools has provided students with a great development platform. It could not only help them acquire professional knowledge, but also broaden their global horizons and develop their ability of cross-culture communication, which has laid a solid foundation for their future development.

President Thomas Stone gave a speech in which he hoped that the study experience of graduates in Ireland would help them continue to explore in their areas of expertise and would create more development opportunities for them, and that the graduates would move forward with integrity and outstanding achievements. He also wished that the Chinese-foreign cooperation in running.
